President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has sent a letter to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman with deep condolences on the death of Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
“His Majesty was truly the selfless son of his homeland, enjoying an unlimited respect of his people, a well-known and skillful statesman who made tremendous efforts towards the development and prosperity of the Sultanate, improving the wellbeing of the nation and bolstering the country’s international standing,” the letter reads in particular.
