On December 5 the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, left for the city of Nur-Sultan on a state visit.
During the top-level talks, the issues of further strengthening the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan relations of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership will be discussed. The prospects for expanding multifaceted cooperation, primarily in trade and economic, investment, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian spheres, will also be considered.
Following the visit, it is expected to sign a solid package of bilateral documents.
