President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has visited a branch of Kazan Federal University in Jizzakh city.
This university is one of the oldest higher education institutions in Russia and provides a number of study areas. The Jizzakh branch of the university opened last year and currently educates 325 students. In general, the institution is designed for 1 088 students.
Specialists are trained in 11 different fields such as medical care, dentistry, pharmacy, medical biochemistry, journalism, economics, geology, linguistics, software engineering, information systems and technology, technological processes and production automatization.
Uzbek President has instructed to allocate an additional building to the institution and expand its facilities.
