A solemn welcoming ceremony of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who is on his state visit to Qatar, was held at the Amiri Diwan complex in Doha.
The Leader of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was warmly welcomed by the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
A guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest and a military orchestra pleyed the national anthems of both Uzbekistan and Qatar.
The heads of state strolled by the honor guard, greeting the esteemed members of the official delegations.
Following the ceremony, top-level talks were initiated.
