The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in the city of Kazan, which begins the programme of his official visit to the Russian Federation.
The President was met at the International Airport named after Gabdulla Tukai by the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and other officials.
In accordance with the programme of the visit, a number of events will be held in Kazan today.
Tomorrow, on October 6, summit meetings will be held in Moscow, during which the two leaders will discuss further deepening of Uzbek-Russian relations and development of multifaceted cooperation, primarily in political, trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
