On October 16, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Samarkand to attend the anniversary Session of the World tourism Organization’s General assembly.
Upon arrival, the Head of our State visited the mausoleum of Imam Bukhari. The surahs from the Holy Quran and dua were recited.
To date, the whole complex is being renovated. The President reviewed the progress of construction and finishing works.
During the visit, the Leader of our State will give a speech on opening ceremony of the main UNWTO Summit. It is also planned to have a meeting with the Secretary General of the Organization Zurab Pololikashvili and to visit the tourism industry exhibition.
