On May 17, a solemn welcoming ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy official residence for the Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim, who is on an official visit to Uzbekistan at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
A guard of honor was lined up in the square in front of the residence.
The Head of our state warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.
A military band performed the national anthems of both countries.
The Leaders walked around the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations.
After a joint photo session, the high-level talks began.
