On March 19 President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received advisor on the issues of economic development, effective governance and international cooperation Suma Chakrabarti. 

The main areas of the adviser's activities in the current year were considered.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of further promotion of the country's investment potential in the international arena, taking practical steps to complete the process of Uzbekistan's accession to the World Trade Organization, and improving the qualifications of civil servants in leading foreign educational institutions.

The importance of holding the upcoming "road shows" of Uzbekistan's investment potential, the Tashkent International Investment Forum with the involvement of leading foreign companies and financial institutions at a high level was emphasized.

The meeting touched upon the practical aspects of the launch of the Tashkent International Commercial Court under the International Center for Digital Technologies, priority measures to strengthen the country's position in international rankings, and conducting fundamental research in the field of economic development of the country.
