In the framework of Tashkent international investment forum program, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev.
In the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest passed to the Head of our state warm greetings and best wishes of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Topical issues of further developing and strengthening Uzbek-Turkmen relations of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership were considered.
Special attention was paid to the issues of forming a new agenda of comprehensive cooperation in trade and economic, transport and communication, energy, water supply spheres, intensifying cooperation in various economic sectors.
Additionally the importance of a thorough preparation for the upcoming Forum of regions, as well as a range of joint business and cultural events was underlined.
