President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited a residential massif “Yangi Uzbekiston” created in Yakkabag district.

The complex was created considering modern urban planning solutions and is oriented to improving the quality of life of the population. New multi-story buildings, well-maintained yards and public spaces have noticeably transformed the district.

On the total area of 18 hectares, 54 five-story buildings for 1400 apartments have been constructed. 

The massif is distinguished not only by modern architecture but also a well thought out infrastructure. Every house is equipped with modern engineering communications, and the adjacent territories have children playgrounds and parking lots.

Special attention is paid to the creation of trade infrastructure. A three-story eco-market created in the center of the massif allows local farmers to sell their products directly to the consumers, ensuring both high quality and adequate prices for the population. 640 jobs have been created here.

The President got acquainted with the conditions created in the market, talked with the sellers and consumers.

- The market is an indicator of prosperity, well-being and culture of the people. It’s nice to see that such a well-maintained space is created in Yakkabag. The purchasing power is increasing, the consumption culture is growing. This is why such modern trade centers should be actively developed in other places, - mentioned Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The ecological approach deserves special attention: buildings are equipped with solar panels and solar collectors. This ensures energy effectiveness and ecological sustainability.

All conditions for rest and active leisure have been created in the massif, especially for children and youth. Walking zones, kindergarten, sport grounds, healthcare centers and service points have been organized in the framework of a single concept.

The responsible persons have been instructed to develop other district centers and massifs based on this concept.
