On September 16, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed to Namangan region.
Today Namangan is a dynamically developing center of entrepreneurship and industry. In the past eight years $7 billion of foreign investments have been attracted here, over 8 thousand new enterprises have been launched. Agriculture, tourism and service sector are actively developing, new jobs are being created for the residents of the region.
The aim of the visit of the Head of State – to get acquainted with the exemplary projects, determine new frontiers and objectives. The program includes visiting construction, industrial, energy, agriculture and water management enterprises, as well as social facilities.
Additionally, it’s planned to hold a meeting on the issues of socio-economic development of the region.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also take part in the III International forum “From Poverty to Prosperity”.
