President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Azerbaijan on October 6-7 at the invitation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The Head of our state will take part in the events of the regular summit of the Organization of Turkic States, which will be held in Gabala.
The agenda of the meeting, held under the theme “Regional peace and security,” includes topical issues of further development and deepening of multilateral cooperation within the framework of the Organization.
The prospects for practical cooperation in the political, trade and economic, innovation, investment, energy, transport and communications, humanitarian, and other priority areas will be discussed.
The heads of delegations will also exchange views on key aspects of international politics.
Following the summit, it is planned to adopt a number of joint decisions and documents aimed at further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the member states of the Organization.
