The working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan has concluded.
As part of the program in Dushanbe, the Head of our state held talks with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also took part in the second summit in the “Central Asia-Russia” format and the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The leader of Uzbekistan put forward a number of initiatives aimed at expanding practical cooperation and increasing the effectiveness of multilateral cooperation in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres.
At the end of the visit, the distinguished guest was seen off at Dushanbe International Airport by Tajikistan's Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda and other officials. The Head of our state departed for Tashkent.
