A solemn ceremony took place at the Kuksaroy Residence to award President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with the highest state award of the Republic of Uzbekistan - the Order of “Oliy Darajali Dustlik”.

Presenting the high award, the President of Uzbekistan highlighted the great personal contribution of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to strengthening the relations of friendship, good-neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance between the two fraternal nations.

It was noted that due to joint efforts, Uzbek-Kazakh relations have gained unprecedented momentum and become exemplary. Parliaments, governments, regions, businesses, the public, and youth are actively interacting, cultural and humanitarian exchanges are expanding.

Trade turnover is steadily growing while large-scale cooperation projects in industry, agriculture, energy, and transport are being implemented.

The efforts of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to promote the ideas of peace and sustainable development at the global level, as well as to strengthen the atmosphere of trust, mutual understanding, and partnership in our region, were particularly highlighted.

The President of Kazakhstan expressed his gratitude to the Head of our state and the people of Uzbekistan for this high honor and affirmed his commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations in the spirit of friendship and alliance.
