President of Uzbekistan departs for the United States

On February 17, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for the United States on a working visit at the invitation of the President of the United States of America Donald Trump.

As previously reported, the first summit of the Board of Peace, of which Uzbekistan is one of the founding states, will take place in Washington, D.C.

As part of the upcoming visit, meetings with US officials and a series of business events are also scheduled.
