At the invitation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Baku on May 17–18.
The President of Uzbekistan will take part in and address the Leaders’ Summit of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum, held under the auspices of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme.
The forum is dedicated to sustainable urban development, expanding access to affordable housing, improving the quality of the urban environment, ensuring climate stability, and enhancing housing finance mechanisms.
A series of meetings and negotiations with heads of foreign delegations are scheduled as part of the visit.
