On June 25, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Tony Blair, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Executive Chairman of the Institute for Global Change.
The parties discussed the further development of practical cooperation with the Institute for Global Change to provide expert support for the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan.
Tony Blair highly praised the consistency and scale of the transformations in New Uzbekistan. He also emphasized the significance of the recently held Tashkent International Investment Forum as an effective platform for enhancing the country's investment attractiveness, strengthening business ties, and promoting promising initiatives.
The parties identified priorities for further cooperation as implementing joint projects in key sectors of the economy, attracting leading international technology companies and major strategic investors, as well as accelerating digital transformation, including the introduction of advanced innovative solutions.
