On July 14, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Doha to express condolences following the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Emir of the State of Qatar.
At Hamad International Airport, the President of Uzbekistan was welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and other officials.
As part of the visit, a bilateral meeting with the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, is scheduled.
