President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
At the beginning of the conversation, President Vladimir Putin warmly congratulated President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health, happiness, well-being, and continued success in his service to the friendly people of Uzbekistan.
The leaders discussed current issues related to the further development and strengthening of the Uzbek-Russian comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance in the context of the practical implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level.
Particular attention was paid to maintaining the growth in mutual trade, promoting cooperation projects between leading enterprises and companies in priority areas, and expanding productive cooperation between the regions of the two countries.
The Presidents noted with deep satisfaction the ongoing active cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
They also reviewed the schedule of upcoming events.
