President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was accorded an official welcome at the Kuksaroy Residence.
A guard of honor was lined up in the square, decorated with the national flags of the two countries, in honor of the President of Azerbaijan.
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium. The national anthems of both countries were played.
The leaders inspected the guard of honor and introduced the members of their official delegations.
Following a joint photo session, high-level talks began.
