President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze of Georgia.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly congratulated Irakli Kobakhidze on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health and well-being and the people of Georgia continued prosperity.
The two leaders discussed further expanding the Uzbek-Georgian strategic partnership and implementing the agreements reached following the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Georgia on July 2-3 this year.
The sides focused on increasing bilateral trade, deepening industrial cooperation, and strengthening transport connectivity, including through the effective use of the infrastructure of Georgia’s Poti and Anaklia ports.
