President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
At the beginning of the conversation, the Leader of Uzbekistan warmly congratulated the President of Iran on his birthday, wishing him good health, family well-being, and continued success in his state duties.
The leaders focused on further strengthening multifaceted cooperation, particularly in the trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Iran also exchanged views on regional issues and the schedule of upcoming events.
