On November 22, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation from the United Arab Emirates led by the Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi.

Minister Al Gergawi conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum and Vice President Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan to the head of our state.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda. The sides noted with satisfaction the high dynamics of Uzbek-Emirati multifaceted relations. The volume of trade turnover and the number of joint ventures and projects are growing steadily.

The joint programmes under the adopted roadmap are being successfully implemented, including those on improving the efficiency of public administration, training managers and developing digital government.

In total, about 1,000 seminars, forums and training courses have been held, improving the qualifications of up to 2 million of our specialists.

Mutual interest in further expanding practical cooperation in the areas of effective governance, development of trade potential, modernization of urban infrastructure, high technology, artificial intelligence and other areas was confirmed at the meeting.
