On May 26, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin arrived in our country on a state visit.
The President of Russia was received by the Head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Tashkent International Airport.
The state flags of the two countries were raised and a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest.
The main events of the visit will take place tomorrow, on May 27.
During the top-level meeting, the leaders will discuss issues of further development and deepening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.
Following the Summit, it is planned to adopt a package of bilateral documents. The Presidents will also participate in the first meeting of the Council of the Regions of Uzbekistan and Russia.
