On June 9, on the eve of Tashkent international investment forum President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the delegation of prominent companies of the United States of America. 

The meeting was attended by the assistant secretary of state Eric Meyer, chairman of the American-Uzbek chamber of commerce Carolyn Lamm, vice-president of the International Development Finance Corporation Bethany Brez, as well as heads of corporations Boeing, FLS, Visa, NASDAQ, Air Products, Franklin Templeton, Morgan Stanlеy, Coca-Cola and others.

The Head of our state mentioned with deep satisfaction that the current meeting symbolizes a growing interest of the American business to expanding presence in Uzbekistan. 

Special attention was paid to the prospects of investment and innovation partnership, promoting specific projects in development and processing critical materials, fields of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, modernization of transport and energy infrastructure, agriculture, tourism and others. 

The heads of leading American companies, thanking the President of Uzbekistan for the created favorable conditions for fruitful activities of investors, voiced their concrete proposals and plans.
