President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviews progress on Lukoil projects

On October 6, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Vagit Alekperov, founder of Lukoil.

Vagit Alekperov briefed the President of Uzbekistan in detail on the current status of the company’s projects in Uzbekistan’s energy sector, including geological exploration and the development of promising hydrocarbon fields, as well as the expansion of the petroleum products retail network.

The sides also discussed plans to further expand the company’s activities in Uzbekistan.
