President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, who arrived in our country to participate in the seventh Consultative meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.
Issues on the practical implementation of high-level agreements were reviewed, primarily measures to increase trade turnover and accelerate important cooperation projects in industry, transport, energy, and infrastructure.
The importance of continuing active interregional contacts and cultural-humanitarian exchange was emphasized.
The Presidents also exchanged views on current issues of the regional agenda.
